Where Are They Now - 2005:
Stories of past Softball World Series players.

Freshman, Jesse Moore is pitching in the State of Oregon High School, Class 6A, 2009 championship game Saturday 6/5/09. Jesse played for the Cedar Mill Little League at the Little League
Softball World Series player in 2005 and 2006.Kelli Connors Pitched a 3 hit game on behalf of her Waterford Lancers in the Class L Connecticut 2009 State Championship.
My name is Carolyn Gilbertson and I played in the 2005 LLSWS for the South. The trip to the world series help me to increase my love of the game and my passion for it. Since the World Series I have been playing travel ball for various elite travel programs and have been talking to many colleges through out the state of Virginia. I plan to make my decision on where I want to play college ball later in the year.
Amanda Najdek pitched for Oregon District 4 from Cedar Mill Little League in 2005. Her favorite Little League moment was pitching in her first Little League Softball World Series game against the Southwest and winning 7-3. Her team also hosted the European team from Poland which was an awesome experience. She now pitches at the Division 1 level for the University of Wisconsin Madison which is in the BIG10 conference. She received the honor of BIG10 Freshman of the Week during the week of April 4th 2011.
